Chassagne Rouge by Caroline Morey | 2020

Caroline Morey is Burgundy royalty. The daughter of winemaker, Jean-Marc Morey, she inherited a portion of his vineyards, after his retirement in 2014. The "cherry on top" is that she married the gifted winemaker, Pierre-Yves Colin, and together they share a cellar, crafting some of the world's most collectible Burgundies.

This is the third time that we’ve offered the Chassagne Rouge bottling from Caroline Morey, and every time, it sells out. After a few months on the cork, like a puzzle, it will find its missing pieces and complete its marvelous picture with crushed black fruits, tea leaf, sweet iron, and wintry spice. It's an elite little red Burgundy in a class of its own, just give it time.
