The Vault is Open! Rosé of Pinot Noir by County Line | 2018
As summer draws to a close, if you're like me, you're probably thinking, "Please, No More Rosé!" But then, there's County Line. Made by Pinot Noir "whisperer" Eric Sussman (of Radio Coteau fame), we love this rosé because it actually tastes like Pinot — perfectly dry and tart with white cherry, plum, and nectarine. At 12% alcohol, it's right in-line with the pale pink Provence style, but has more oomph on the palate (far from watery and flat!) So, whether we're in the dog-end of summer or the slug of winter, I'd put my money on the County Line... and polish-off this rosé all year long!
Region: Anderson Valley, Mendocino
Tasting Notes: White cherry, nectarine, rose
Pair with: Beef tartar, slow-baked tomatoes, fish fry
