Dry Riesling, Hohen-Sülzen by Battenfeld-Spanier | 2017
We admit it, we're kind of obsessed with the wines of Battenfeld-Spanier. Tucked away in the southern sector of the Rheinhessen, in the village of Hohen-Sülzen, the jackpot here is limestone. The German Rieslings grown on limestone (versus slate) have a different kind of minerality, one that feels bold and buoyant, extra cold, and eye-opening. Now, combine that terroir with the richness of sunshine and biodynamic farming, and you have some of the most underrated Rieslings in the world. You can call this wine wine "natural" or organic, but we just like to say... dangerously delicious.
All of our wines are shipped from our temperature-controlled warehouse located in Miami, FL. We currently ship to most states and offer next-day delivery Monday-Friday for Miami-Dade residents.
