Sourced exclsuively from the benchland vineyards of Sonoma County, Bench Merlot is not your typical valley floor fruit bomb. Beyond the oodles of dark cherry fruit, there's a mountainous terrain: crumbles of stone, red rock, and sweet dust. At 13.7% alcohol the fruit is ripe, but not stewed, and the palate is buttery smooth.
