Today, the family farms more than 70 acres across 12 parcels, much of it old-vine, bush-trained Tinta del País, without chemical sprays or herbicides. This Joven is miles above its category: black fruits, fruitcake spice, and that violet-rose sky earth that makes Tempranillo compelling. At 14%, it glides rather than hangs.
