Sunday Offer: Bourgogne Passe-Tout-Grains by Lou Dumont | 2020
$44.00
In 1996 Japanese sommelier Koji Nakada moved to Beaune to study French wine and in 2000 formed Maison Lou Dumont, which is now recognized for producing Burgundy with little manipulation. Bourgogne-Passe-Tout Grains is an affordable and delicious appellation which combines the purity of Pinot Noir with the fruitiness of Gamay. This 2020 expression from Lou Dumont is elegant with ripe cherry, chalky earth, and balanced by its bright acidity. 80% Pinot Noir with 20% Gamay from the vineyards of Nuits-Saints-Georges… it’s what Burgundy dreams are made of!
