An hour’s drive north of Barcelona is a tiny region called Pla des Bages. Here, Grenache soaks in the best of the Mediterranean with its big red and black fruits and forest-y spices. Medium-plus body with low tannins, this is the perfect complement to rustic platters of grilled meat, charred veggies, and all the saucy accoutrements.
