Top Secret Sangiovese...
We're kind-of obsessed with this wine, made by one of Montalcino's most exciting producers of the century, husband and wife team, Ricardo and Jennifer Campinoti. If you're looking for over-extraction or the glossy smells of new oak, look elsewhere. This bottling is essentially "Rosso di Montalcino," but the vineyards are so high-up that they exceed the threshold of the appellation laws. Made from 100% Brunello (a clone of Sangiovese), this Toscana Rosso deliciously captures the spirit of its grape with pretty red fruits, cherry tomato, and piping smells of sweet and savory herbs.
