The Antonopoulos winery, near the city of Patras in northwestern Peloponnese is the gatekeeper of indigenous local varietals in a mountainous terroir. Their stunning Adoli Ghis white wine is a blend of 65% Lagorthi with 25% Asproudes as well as Santameriana, White Volitsa, Mygdali, Brena and Roditis. From a sweeping altitude of 900 meters, the acidity is vibrant and almost salty, as it makes its way through the wine's tropical fruits like mango, pineapple skin, and green melons.
