The newest member of Cà del Baio’s family of Barbaresco wines, Auntinbej is a Piemontese word used to describe the best vineyard exposures. It's a nod to the traditional wines of the region which were made from the best parts of different crus. This over-achieving 2016 drinks more like a gutsy Barolo, than a softer Barbaresco — well-stocked with tannin, sweet and sour plum, damp rose, and cedar. Decanting highly recommended!
