Sardinia's version of Grenache, Cannonau bottles-up everything we love about the Mediterranean: plump red and black fruits, grilled herbs, peppery meat, and the scents of a seaside breeze. Sourced from the most mountainous (and least populous) part of the island on the southeast coast, Cardedu's style is low intervention, but their wines speak clearly to a grape and its sense of place.
