An unconventional blend of Pinot Noir (90%) with Mourvèdre (10%), partial carbonic maceration gives the wine lift and glide. Certified biodynamic and aged in older 400-500L barrels, the nose brims with cherries, plums, and a woodsy spice. The Mourvèdre adds complexity and intrigue on the palate with darker tones of leather, meat, and smoke. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, at 13.5% alcohol it's soft enough to enjoy by itself, but also makes a refined pairing for exotic spices and anything off-the-grill. ~Allegra A
