Bois de Boursan Châteauneuf-du-Pape | 2021

Composed of 65% Grenache Noir, 15% Syrah, 15% Mourvèdre with a dollop of other local varieties, Bois de Boursan ages in large traditional wooden vats and is bottled unfiltered. Far from thick and beefy, this is a very elegant style of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, yet, jam-packed with the lovely dark elements of the Southern Rhône, like sweet raspberries, smoked meat, and grilled herbs. In the angst of climate change, Bois de Boursan continues to deliver a classic and lively style of Châteauneuf for an excellent price. ~Allegra A
