Bois de Boursan Châteauneuf-du-Pape | 2021

Composed of mostly Grenache with Syrah and Mourvèdre, and a smidge of other local varieties, Bois de Boursan continues to deliver a lively style of Châteauneuf at an excellent price. It’s aged in large, traditional wooden vats and bottled unfiltered. Far from thick or beefy, this is an especially elegant expression of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, but it still carries all the dark, soulful notes of the Southern Rhône with its sweet raspberries, braised meat, and colorful herbs. ~Allegra Angelo
