The 17th vintage of Chaos Theory, the 2021 is Zinfandel forward with 40% Primitivo, 5% Tempranillo, and 5% Petite Sirah. There is no Cabernet Sauvignon in the 2021, which reflects Chaos Theory's true meaning, a "Shapeshifter, each vintage its own unique blend reflecting the nature of our journey in the world of wine — a constant adventure." Aged six months in 50% new French oak, this is a stalwart expression of Napa Valley sunshine with an intense bouquet of dark cherry, plum candy, and licorice. Chaos Theory offers more than oodles of fruit, as notes of sunbaked leather, toasted cocoa, and wild herbs unwind in the glass.
