Cigliuti Barbera, Serraboella | 2021

Made since 1964, Cigliuti is one of the most underrated icons of Barbaresco. Of course, Nebbiolo, is the noble grape, but their Barbera is one of the best in Piedmont. Sourced from the Serraboella Cru and aged in larger casks, the palate overflows with red and purple fruits, rose, and fall spice. Rich and velvety, followed by a burst of tangy acidity, I wouldn't have Barbera any other way. ~Allegra Angelo
