Leduc-Frouin Anjou, La Seigneurie | 2023

There’s nothing special about this Cabernet Franc. It’s just a little French wine, made by a little French family that’s been farming the same land since 1873. It’s the kind of bottle you drank at a bistro in Saint-Germain, fell in love with it over a plate of escargots, and hate yourself because you didn’t take any bottles home (because now, you can’t find it at your local wine shop). With its crunchy dark red fruits and sweet chicken olive greens, it’s nothing special, just pretty and perfect Cabernet Franc. ~Allegra Angelo
