What’s better than Ruinart Blanc des Blancs? Ruinart Rosé. One of Champagne’s most historical brands, Ruinart was a pioneer in perfecting the pink styles of Champagne in the 18^th century. Almost equal parts Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, a liberal 12% of the Pinot Noir is vinified as a red wine (43% as a white). Completing full malolactic fermentation, Ruinart Rosé defines elegance within decadence. The nose is an intriguing mix of cold weather and warm weather fruits, from pomegranate to guava, sour cherry to rosy lychee. In classic Ruinart style, the palate is lush, energized by precise bubbles with gentle notes of fresh cream and toast. Totally in a class of its own, I’ll take my Ruinart pink please. ~Allegra A
