Amy Ezrin, known as “The Piedmont Gal,” brings badass credentials and a contagious sense of humor to the wine business. A University of Chicago graduate, Amy headed to Italy to pursue opera. Eight years later, her love of singing spilled over into friendly obsession of language, culture, and, of course, wine. Today, as a partner at The Piedmont Guy, she champions Piedmont’s artisanal producers, bringing their wines—and the stories behind them—to those of us who proudly identify as terroir freaks and lovers of all things Italian. We’re thrilled to welcome Amy back to Wine Island. So, leave the office a little early on Thursday, and let’s raise a glass to the magic of Piedmont!
