Zinfandel is like taking Pinot Noir and wringing-out every drop of water. As a result, you're left with an abundantly fruity, incredibly soft, and concentrated glass of wine. A thin skin grape and naturally light in color, Zinfandel packs a lot of flavor without the thump of tannin, and that's a good thing. At 14.5% alcohol, this 2018 from Napa legend, Rudy Von Strasser, is a sundae of blackberry and cherry swirl, candied violets, and sprinkles of green. So, when you're in the mood for something over-the-top, but well balanced, super size your Pinot Noir and make it Zin!
