Sparkling Riesling, Reserve by Peter Lauer | 1992
For Riesling fanatics, there is nothing like the Saar region of Germany where intensity and purity collide. Disgorged in 2016, this 1992 sparkling Riesling was made by the Champagne method and rested on its lees for more than 2 decades! A limited release, the wine leaps from the glass with pineapple skin, candied melon, beeswax, salt and stone. On the palate, it's viscous yet superfine, streching-out into a perfectly dry and incredibly long finish.
