I really like this wine. With 13% alcohol it has enough stuffing to appeal to heavier red drinkers, but it also has plenty of freshness, lift, and glide to please those who prefer light reds. A blend of Castelão, Moreto and Trincadeira from Alentejo, the fruit is richly red with spiced violets and sweetly scorched earth. With safely moderate tannins and moderate acidity, it's the ultimate, and affordable, people pleaser. ~Allegra A
