I really like this wine, and at a pretty 13% alcohol, it’s exactly what I'm bringing to those impromptu family gatherings (while I hide the Burg). A blend of Castelão, Moreto and Trincadeira from Alentejo, the fruit is richly red with spiced violets and sweetly scorched earth. With an equal balance of moderate tannins and moderate-plus acidity, it's the ultimate, and affordable, people pleaser. ~Allegra A
