We can never get enough of this high-toned, silky Grenache from the Sierra de Gredos mountains, just west of Madrid. A Vinya fan favorite, 4 Monkeys is a team of four friends who met while hiking in these mountains. Easily, one of the most compelling wine terroirs to emerge recently, the sandy-granite-schist landscape feels like a magical collision between the Mediterranean and the Alpine slopes. Forest shrubs, candied flowers, and sweet berries are just a few of the eye-opening aromas that emerge from the glass. Drink by itself or alongside anything with a hint of sweetness or smoke.
