Mtsvane means, "New, Young, and Green" in the Georgian language, but there's really nothing new or young about it. Winemaking evidence shows that Georgians have produced Mtsvane wines for over 6,000 years, making it one of the world's most historical grapes. Mtsvane produces medium bodied wines with noticeable hints of green. It's melon-y, dewy, kind-of grapey, with a tangy tamarind-like finish. Pair with grilled fish, seafood, or citrusy chicken dishes. ~Allegra Angelo
