Domaine de Pallus Chinon, Messanges | 2020

If you head south from Saint-Nicolas de Bourgueil, you'll cross the Loire River and end-up in Chinon where the best Cabernet Franc grows in soft limestone soils called tuffeau. The wines have a bit more backbone and tannin compared to Bourgeuil and can age incredibly well. We love Domaine de Pallus because it perfectly sums-up classic Chinon in the glass. Pure and pretty with a touch of rusticity, we wouldn't drink Chinon any other way!
