Join us for a unique tasting adventure, Grape Anatomy. Led by James Beard semi-finalist, Allegra Angelo, you’ll taste six classic grapes in a semi-blind format and sharpen your analytical skills. This month’s theme is Riesling, Riesling, and more Riesling! From nervy German trocken to lush fruity spätlese, and the powerhouses of Austria and Australia, we’ll explore the full spectrum of this endlessly expressive grape. Working in teams, you’ll uncover both Riesling’s signature traits and its remarkable variability. This is an educational-forward and highly interactive class for the ambitious beginner, as well as the advanced-level taster who just needs more practice (like us!)
