Heathen Wines Blanc de Franc | 2022

From our dear friend, Heath Porter, Blanc de Franc is like if Champagne and Saumur-Champigny had a buster lovechild. 100% Cabernet Franc, sourced from the Blue Ridge Mountain slopes of the Monticello AVA, the grapes were hand-harvested and foot-stomped. Fermentation and aging in neutral barrels give a generous mouthfeel, livened by crunchy bubbles and Franc's hallmark springtime flowers personality. With just 50 cases produced, I'd recommend grabbing an extra bottle. Who knew a Champagne Method wine from Virginia could be this tasty? ~Allegra A
