Bodegas y Viñedos Ilurce Rio Madre Rioja (Graciano) | 2021

At Vinya, we love Graciano, Rioja's alter ego red grape that flourishes in climate change. Almost opaque in the glass, this is serious Graciano that shows off its wondrous white spice and intoxicating dark violets. The fruit mirrors the color purple with plums and blackberries, which burst in every direction on the palate. Organically farmed, fermented in concrete and steel (with partial stems), then aged in old French barrique, there's plenty of grip on the palate to push it into the full-bodied category. ~Allegra A
