Spearheaded by Sauzet's great granddaughter, Emilie, and her husband, Benoît Riffault, the pair have maintained the estate's commitment to biodynamic and certified organic farming and extended lees aging in the cellar, giving the final wines their hallmark pearls of texture. Newly released, this Puligny-Montrachet is gentle on the nose with green and yellow apples, pear and fennel, hints of smoke, white poofy dust, and sourdough. In classic Sauzet fashion, the wine unravels on the palate in delicate seams of lemon and cream, stone and green.
