Formerly the winemaker at Archery Summit, Shea Wine Cellars, and Benton Lane, Chris purchased the White Walnut estate in 2013, sensing its potential to become one of Oregon's premier sites. With a focus on biodynamic viticulture, White Walnut Estate features dozens of clones that Chris has collected over the last two decades. Thus, all his bottlings are unique kind-of field blends. It's this innovative and detailed approach to farming that makes Chris and White Walnut a compelling dynamic duo. We're honored to have Chris in the Vinya house.
